Roma Tre University is proud to host at the Palladium Theatre Cry Havoc, written and performed by Stephan Wolfert, an American military veteran who brings his award-winning and critically acclaimed show directly from New York specially back to Italy* on the occasion of ESRA 2019 Conference. Wolfert has been invited to participate in the Conference with his one-person play, where he seamlessly interweaves Shakespeare’s most famous speeches with personal experience to help us understand the crises to be faced when people are recruited into the military but not de-cruited and reintegrated back into civilian life. With hundreds of performances in theatres, communities, Universities and mental health Conferences all over the world, Cry Havoc makes Shakespeare contemporary and the suffering of our veterans ancient.

After the show Stephan Wolfert will be happy to speak about his program, DeCruit: treating trauma with Shakespeare and Science

At Roma Tre Palladium Theatre on the second night of ESRA 2019 Conference, July 10th.

The ticket is included in the registration fee.
Please note: the Conference badge will be needed in order to attend the performance.

*Special thanks to Laura Caparrotti and Donatella Codonesu (KIT Italia) for introducing us to Stephan Wolfert’s work in January during the first edition of the OnStage Festival 2019 in Rome.
